What Services do you provide?

 

Like any other Private Hire Vehicle or Taxi I provide a number of services. Whether you are heading into town for a night out, the office party or just a shopping trip, I can get you there. I also provide transport to and from medical appointments, whether that be your local GP or particular hospital, I will get you there on time and stress free. I can provide a waiting service if required. I also provide Airport Transfers to and from airports locally and nationally most common being Exeter Airport or Bristol Airport and also Heathrow Airport. 

 

What vehicle do you use at DBF CARS and why?

 

I currently use a 2022 Skoda Octavia Estate. I find this vehicle the perfect choice for Private Hire work. Its reliable, fuel-efficient and has advanced safety features. My customers tell me that they find the Skoda comfortable, has plenty of legroom and is a smooth ride. They also appreciate that I keep it immaculately clean. There is ample luggage space which makes it the perfect vehicle for airport runs, hospital trips or shopping trips.

What is Private Hire and how does it differ from a taxi?

 

Private Hire means you pre-book a car for a certain time and date giving you the peace of mind that your car will be available when and where you want it. You normally agree the fare up front so you can relax in the knowledge that what you are quoted is what you pay. There will be no unexpected fare increases due to diversions, traffic jams or roadworks which can be common when a taxi is using a meter. By pre-booking you also avoid any queues at the rank or uncertainty of when your vehicle will arrive.

 

How do I know my Private Hire Vehicle is safe?

 

Like all taxis, private hire vehicles and their drivers are regulated by East Devon District Council. This ensures compliance, credibility and customer trust. You know with a licensed driver you are getting a fully DBS checked driver whose driving has also been assessed to a high standard. EDDC ensure all licensed vehicles are safe and well maintained. They do this with regular vehicle inspections.
